See 10 gastronomic events in SP, such as Comida di Buteco – 05/04/2024 – Restaurants

The month of April is full of events for those who love gastronomy in São Paulo. Starting with Comida di Boteco, which starts this Friday (5) with 140 establishments that create special snacks priced at R$35.

The bar also takes over the Cultura de Boteco festival, which brings together bars and restaurants to the sound of free shows by great artists in Água Branca park this first weekend. Discover the agenda below.

Al Cinema Pizza
The project, which delivers pizzas with flavors inspired by filmmakers to order, forms a partnership with Casa Carbone and prepares pizzas using the house’s meats in Pinheiros. There will be just 50 pizzas with three flavors, like the one called Sergio, with ragu, parmesan and black pepper in the long fermentation dough.

Barbarians BBQ
The event dedicated to barbecue, which is in its 13th edition, brings together specialized chefs on the 13th, such as Jefferson Rueda and Jeferson Finger, who prepare different types of cuts, served with side dishes. The ticket entitles you to open food and an open bar, which includes drinks, beer, water and soft drinks. On the menu, there is pancetta, ancho, burgers, empanadas, paellas, garlic bread and other dishes. To accompany the meal, there are live shows and a space for children with monitors.

Cinema on the Table
The second edition of the project that brings together cinema and gastronomy shows the film “Eternamente Pagu”, by Norma Bengell, followed by a debate with guests and the project’s curator, Juliana Sabbag, and a tasting menu inspired by the film, created by chef Cacá Vicente. The session takes place on the Cinemateca’s external screen, on the 17th, at 7pm. The meal consists of a shrimp cocktail, São Paulo style and tarte tatin, plus non-alcoholic drinks.

Buteco food
Until May 5th, the festival brings together a thousand bars around the country to choose the best bar in Brazil — there are 141 participants spread across the five regions of the capital of São Paulo. The locals create special snacks for the event, all sold for R$ 35. Venezas, from Ipiranga, champion of the last two years, created for this edition a filet mignon escalope with mustard cream and shiitake topped with torched provolone, served with punched potatoes, confit tomatoes, olives and seasoned olive oil.

Boteco Culture Festival
This first weekend of the month, the 6th and 7th, the event celebrates the bar with stands from bars and restaurants, such as Fôrno, Soul Botequim and Consulado Mineiro, and free shows by artists such as Iara Rennó, Maurício Pereira and Ná Ozetti.

Wild Patagonia Immersion
Chef Ivan Ralston, from Tuju, joins Rodolfo Vilar, founder of the A.Mar project, focused on research into artisanal fishing, for a special lunch. In it, there will be a chat about Vilar’s research experiences in the wild Patagonia region and a lunch created with ingredients brought from there, such as fish, seaweed, meat and pancs. On the 7th, the meal costs R$2,500 and includes wine pairings, mostly Patagonian.

Nekô Fest
On the 27th, the second edition of the festival dedicated to Asian gastronomy and culture brings together around 50 establishments that present typical recipes from countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, India and Thailand. The program also features shows, dance performances, workshops and K-pop cover shows, among others.

Nice Day
The Nice Cream ice cream shop, specializing in healthy ice creams, is holding a special action on the 19th. The value of all sales will be donated to Tucca, an association dedicated to curing childhood cancer.

Mondays in Maní
In the Maní restaurant project, chefs Helena Rizzo and Willem Vandeven welcome Japanese chef Zaiyu Hasegawa, from the award-winning Den, in Japan. The trio prepares an eight-course dinner, on the 15th, with recipes such as pork loin tapioca with spices Japanese dishes and a salad of seasonal leaves and vegetables, a famous Hasegawa dish. The meal costs R$940 and can be paired with wine and sake for an additional R$490.

Torresmofest
From the 11th to the 14th, the event dedicated to pork rinds brings together food stalls that sell, in addition to pork snacks, hamburgers, barbecues, churros, crepes and draft beer, among others. The program is complemented with live music and an area for children to play.
