In Brazil, 123 cities will have bars with programming to disseminate science in a more relaxed environment. This year’s edition will be attended by more than 600 researchers and specialists, who will discuss relevant topics of everyday but thought-provoking themes, such as the importance of the ocean, bacteria, stars and sex pheromones. Themes of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, politics, law and technology will be guided in the meetings. The 2023 edition takes the motto “A toast to Science”. For the organizers, the objective is “to establish an open and informal dialogue between scientists and the general public, contributing to the development of science education in the country”.
