Singer Sandy and Lucas Lima announced the end of their relationship after 24 years together, recently the couple celebrated 15 years of marriage with a trip to Disney with their son Théo, aged 9.

The publication shared on their official Instagram account took everyone by surprise because despite being public figures, the couple was always very discreet and seemed very happy with their marriage.

Sandy and Lucas began their relationship in 1999 when Sandy was just 16 years old, in 2008 they got married, and in June 2014 the couple’s only son, 9-year-old Théo, was born.

There was no fight, no hurt, no trauma… we were able to see that this was the best path and we will stop being a couple in the same way we were one: with lots of love, respect and infinite friendship.

The family we built is forever. And our love too.

And we know it’s too much to ask, but let’s ask anyway: please, respect our moment, our family. We have a beautiful 9 year old son who needs all our love and care. We need this intimate, difficult and private moment to be lived with the same discretion with which we lived our very happy, successful relationship.

Thank you for your understanding and for the positive thoughts that we know we will receive from those who care about us. It will take a little while, but it will be fine. ♥️
