Manaus (AM) – The deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas (Aleam) carried out, on the morning of this Tuesday (20), the vote on the Bill (PL) nº 547 of 2023, arising from the Governmental Message nº 41 of 2023, which increases by 8% the amount of salaries, relative to the base date of 2022, for servants of the State Secretariat for Education and School Sports (Seduc). The Session was chaired by Deputy Roberto Cidade (União Brasil).
The project was voted on and approved with the original wording, with votes against by deputies Wilker Barreto (Citizenship) and Mayra Dias (Avante), who claimed support for the workers’ claims, which asked for the percentage of 15.19%.
“I am not against the salary adjustment, but the way the Government did it, without listening to the category”,
claimed Barrett.
Deputy Mayra Dias said “that the appreciation of public servants involves the payment of a fair wage”and who would vote against the readjustment because it is below the negotiated price.
Deputy Commander Dan (PSC) recalled that the negotiating table between teachers and the Government took place and among the requests presented by the category, five were answered.
“Understanding that this referral is what provides for both the fulfillment of the vast majority of the topics on the agenda and also a prospect of eight percent and, in the future, according to what was discussed at the table, the percentage can be met according to the capacity of the state, I made my vote here, coherently, understanding that in this way we move forward”,
