Manaus (AM) — The headquarters of the Rio Negro Clube will be auctioned, on March 13, by the Regional Labor Court of the 11th Region (AM/RR). The property was valued at R$ 10 million and the amount obtained from the auction will be used to pay labor debts.

The headquarters of Rio Negro Clube has a trophy room where all the titles of the club are, a water park with two swimming pools, one for children and the other semi-Olympic, a gym, the traditional hall of mirrors, a games room, a meeting rooms, restrooms, a dance hall, a bar, a restaurant, a sports hall with capacity for 2,000 spectators, an administrative center, all in reasonable condition.

The head judge of the Coordination of Support to Execution (Conae) and the Public Auction Division of TRT-11, Maria de Lourdes Guedes Montenegro, informs that the headquarters of the Rio Negro Clube, among the auctioned items, is not just for the amount involved, considering that the property was valued at R$ 10 million, but due to its importance to the city, since it is considered Intangible Heritage of the city of Manaus, according to Law nº 1795/13.

The judge of the auxiliary work of Conae and of the Public Auction Division of TRT-11, João Alves de Almeida Neto, explains that the fact that the headquarters of Rio Negro is listed by the public patrimony, does not prevent its sale by auction.

“It should be clarified that the listing of the property does not prevent its disposal, it only imposes restrictions on the use of the property by its owner, and preference in the auction by the Union, the State and the Municipality where the property is located, on an equal offer”,

The auction takes place electronically at the link (www.amazonasleiloes.com.br), at 9:30 am, but visitation to check lot conditions is free from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
