The first stage of the selection process for the RenovaBR political leadership course attracted the interest of more than 7,800 people who intend to enter the municipal dispute next year.
The objective of the course is to qualify possible candidates for mayors and councilors. Of those registered, the majority (6,599) want to run for the municipal legislature and 874 for the Executive. The rest have not decided which office they should run for.
Most of those enrolled were from the Southeast (3,709), then the Northeast (2,110) and the South (925).
The next step in the selection will be to produce a short video answering the question “How are you going to make a difference as a councilor or mayor in your city?”, until May 9th.
RenovaBR specializes in training political leaders. Among those who went through the program are federal deputy Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP) and former deputies Felipe Rigoni (União-ES) and Tiago Mitraud (Novo-MG).
