Reinforcements emphasize the search for the state title and access

Coritiba’s new athletes spoke to the press on Tuesday (16), at CT da Graciosaat the Media Dayand reinforced the search for the 40th title of the Campeonato Paranaense and access to Série A, Alviverde’s main goals in 2024.

The one who is eager to fight for the state title is the midfielder Matheus Frizzo. The athlete came from Tombense to reinforce the thigh-white midfield and wants to focus on the State Championship to reach Series B.

“The club made it very clear that this is the main goal of the year, but I think that at the beginning we have a very clear goal, which is Paranaense. We are preparing very hard to have a good competition. We have our debut and we are very motivated to start the competition well and, with that, we will reach Series B in the best possible way”, said the midfielder to UmDois Esportes.

The steering wheel Arilson He spoke about the experience he had after arriving at Criciúma in Série C and remaining with the team until promotion in 2023. According to him, his time at Tigre will help Alviverde’s season.

“I think it needs a lot of reformulation. The Coritiba project filled my eyes a lot and that for me is gratifying. Having these commitments that I had at Criciúma and today I can be enjoying that at Coritiba. What I can say is that I’m going to dedicate myself to the maximum to achieve what I achieved at Criciúma here, which is to put the club in the place it shouldn’t have left”, he told UmDois Esportes.

The steering wheel Vini Paulista highlighted that versatility is his main characteristic to help Coxa in the 2024 season.

“Last year I played more as a second midfielder, I have this characteristic of arriving well in attack, and composing myself as well. That’s where I feel comfortable. But I was trained as a striker in the youth categories and wherever Professor Guto chooses me, I’m available,” he explained.

In the sector, it has several other competitors, such as Arilson, Andrey, Matheus Bianqui and Fransérgiobut is not discouraged by the dispute.

“I believe that the competition is normal, everywhere you go there will be qualified athletes. I think that the winner is the club with so many options in this role”, he stated.
