Registration for Sesc Triathlon 2023 ends this Monday

The competition encompasses three sports: swimming, cycling and running.
Manaus (AM) – Registration for the Sesc Triathlon 2023, promoted by the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc-AM), is open and can be done until next Monday (24) through the website: www.sesc-am.com.br. The event will take place on July 29, at Praia da Ponta Negra, West Zone of Manaus.
The competition encompasses three sports: swimming, cycling and running, which favor the inclusion of beginner triathletes and those with disabilities, in addition to the participation of the community.
Those interested can register in the categories Elite, Amateur, Commercial/Dependent, Speed, Mountain Bike, Paratriathlon (PcD) and Relays.
As the largest sporting event in the North Region, the main objective of Sesc Triathlon is to disseminate and encourage the sport through an educational, cultural and inclusive event.
“The event returns to the sporting scene after five years and we want to encourage more and more people to experience the modalities, giving any trained citizen the opportunity to participate in a test”,
scores Sesc-AM’s Leisure Coordinator, Kilson Costa.
The coordinator also points out the importance of the health of the competitors.
“It is important that this person has their exams up to date and training, after all there are three sports, so it is important that the athlete is prepared”,

Registrations
For trade workers and dependents, the investment is BRL 180. For the general public, it is BRL 200. The relay category has an investment per team of BRL 300. Finally, those registered in the Paratriathlon category are exempt from the amount.

In the Elite category, male and female, trophies will be awarded to the top five. In the Olympic Amateur, Commercial Worker/Dependent, PcD, Speed, Mountain Bike, and Relay categories, male and female and mixed, the prize will be given to the top three.
Technical Symposium and Athlete Kit
The technical symposium to clarify the doubts of the competitors will take place on the 27th of this month, starting at 7:30 pm, at the Anfiteatro Bernardo Cabral – Sesc Balneário. At the venue, the athlete’s kit will also be collected, upon presentation of an official document with a photo (take proof of payment for any need). The athlete’s kit is essentially composed of: numerals, pins, cap, t-shirt, visor, bag, informational shaker and disposable chip.
