Candidates interested in joining USP (University of São Paulo) through the Enem (National High School Examination) score have until noon on Tuesday (31) to enroll in Enem-USP.
The new modality offers 2,917 vacancies in several university courses and replaces Sisu, a unified federal selection system.
Of the total vacancies, 599 will be reserved for candidates in the broad competition modality (vacancies for all candidates, with no requirement for any other prerequisite), 1,233 for EP students (destined for those with per capita gross family income equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage and who have completed high school in Brazilian public schools) and 1,085 for PPI students (for self-declared black, brown or indigenous people).
All applicants, according to Fuvest, will compete for highly competitive vacancies. At the time of registration, the candidate must inform if he/she will also apply for vacancies destined to affirmative action policies.
The registration fee is R$ 10 and also needs to be paid this Tuesday. At the end of the registration on the website, a slip is generated that must be paid by the due date in the banking network.
For self-declared black or brown candidates, enrollment in the PPI vacancy will only be confirmed after validation of the candidate’s self-declaration of race by a committee composed specifically for this purpose, according to the complementary hetero-identification procedure, defined by the USP Council for Inclusion and Belonging.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Students who have completed high school or equivalent can participate; who already have an official or recognized higher education diploma, duly registered; or who have taken the Enem tests for the year 2022.
SUBSCRIPTION
Registration is done on the Fuvest website. To register, the candidate must inform the CPF and other personal data; if you wish to request exemption from the registration fee; if you want to compete for affirmative action vacancies, in addition to broad competition vacancies; your area of interest –exact, biological or human sciences– and three courses within the respective area of knowledge.
From the 13th to the 15th of February, the candidate will be able to change the course options within the area chosen at the time of registration.
The announcement of those approved in the first call will be made on February 17th. Virtual registrations will be made from February 22nd to 27th.
