On July 23, the referees designated for the semifinals of the Copa do Brasil began their concentration. Among the 19 professionals summoned to participate in the training sessions, stands out the referee from Amapá, Thaillan Azevedo. The programming included real game simulations, physical, tactical and psychological preparation.
Field work was carried out at Clube da Aeronáutica, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, where referees were accompanied by athletes who simulated real game situations. At the same time, video assistant referees carried out activities at the Brazilian Arbitration Center of Excellence (CEAB).
The CBF Arbitration Commission invited other renowned referees, such as Arthur Rabelo (ES), Leonardo Lorenzatto (MT), Matheus Candançan (SP) and Marcos Sousa (TO), to participate in the program. The main objective is to introduce the group to the study and preparation routine before elite competitions in Brazilian football.
Thaillan Azevedo will be the central referee in the grand final of Amapazão 2023. The referee was also scheduled for the game between Potiguar – RN and Bahia de Feira – BA, which took place this Sunday (30), along with assistants from Amapa, Luan Patrique and Salmon Lopes .
The final between Independente x Trem will take place this Thursday (03), at 20:00 at Estádio Zerão and will have the following refereeing:
