The rector of the Zumbi dos Palmares University, José Vicente, is the newest member of Prerogativas, a group composed of jurists, lawyers and public defenders coordinated by lawyer Marco Aurélio de Carvalho. About a thousand people are still waiting on the waiting list.

Professor Lucineia Rosa dos Santos, a black jurist who has been defending for the STF (Supreme Federal Court), the legal coordinator of Apib (Articulação dos Povos Indígenas do Brasil), Maurício Terena, and retired federal judge Claudia Maria Dadico, entered.
