This Tuesday (18), Senator Randolfe Rodrigues participated in the event “Amapá Export Day”, which brought together entrepreneurs from Amapá to talk about exporting products from the Amazon.
The action was directly encouraged by the mandate of Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, Senator Davi Alcolumbre, in partnership with the Secretariat for International Relations and Foreign Trade of the Government of Amapá, and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (APEX).
On the occasion, several entrepreneurs took their products to exhibit and show the quality of what is produced in Amapá. “Thanks to our articulation with the Lula government and Apex Brasil, we already have nine companies from Amapá that are going to participate in international fairs, in the United States and France. We need to show the world the quality of what is produced in the Amazon”, said Senator Randolfe.
The president of the Apex, Jorge Viana, said that he came to Amapá to learn about and listen to the productive sector, and put into practice strategies to boost exports of Amapá products. “We need to take advantage of this moment when the Lula government is committing itself to developing the North region and bringing more visibility to the Amazon. This is a new moment for Amapá”, celebrated the president.
The governor of Amapá, Clécio Luís, was at the event and congratulated the entrepreneurs who are always looking for innovation. “Our role as the state government is to extend our hands to these innovators, so that we can advance even further in local, national and international trade”, said the governor.
Today, more than 120 companies from Amapá produce sustainably and seek opportunities to enter the international market.
