The stylist presented the methodology of “creation by singularity”
Manaus (AM) – Faculdade Santa Teresa received, this week, the stylist and creative director of the Utopia Brasil brand, Ramon Alada. He visited the institution for a chat with students in the first period of the Fashion Design course.
FST’s Fashion Design coordinator, Cidarta Gautama, points out that this contact between students and experienced market professionals is one of the focuses of the course.
“We understand that this exchange enriches the learning and development of future professionals”,
highlighted.
During the chat with the students, Ramon Alada proposed a creative immersion mediated by him and the course coordinator at Faculdade Santa Teresa. The stylist presented the “creation by singularity” methodology, which represents the need to think about fashion for others and never for oneself.
According to Ramon Alada, it is very common for students, when starting fashion school, to believe in their personal taste when proposing projects. However, the secret is precisely to distance yourself from your interests and perceptions and think about what the public would like to wear.
The students were provoked to list everything they would never wear as fashion and, from these items, discover how to revisit luxury styles and brands, to understand how to create for uniqueness.
“Fashion portrays manners, therefore, it is not just about clothing, but about communicating the message that the user hopes to convey through the image”,
highlighted.
