Professor at EE Eliana Socorro Pacheco Braga, Meive Thays Miranda, said she was thrilled to learn about the award.
“In the competition, the teams compete against each other at the school itself and with schools from all municipalities and states in Brazil and abroad. I confess that I still don’t believe it. I am very excited and, at the same time, not believing that we did it”,
highlighted Professor Meive.
International Olympics
The Olympics has a single phase and was held at a time chosen by the teacher, from the 22nd to the 29th of May, at the school itself, in face-to-face and remote format.
The tests were essays and solved without the help of the teacher at the three levels: Basic (students from the 4th to 6th year of Elementary School 1), Junior (for students from the 7th to 9th year of Elementary School 2) and Senior, for all grades of High school.
“It was a big challenge. We think it’s a great opportunity to seek recognition for our state and our school. We are dedicated and put in a lot of effort. It is a great honor to bring this gold medal to our state”,
said EE 2nd grade student Eliana Socorro Pacheco Braga, Gláucia de Souza.
