The results of those approved in the Provão Paulista, an entrance exam created last year for access to state universities in São Paulo, were released this Friday morning (26). The list can be accessed on the Vunesp portal.
Those who pass are the first to be selected in the test, which was created last year and can only be taken by public school students.
There are more than 15 thousand vacancies in five of the main public universities in the state: USP (University of São Paulo), Unesp (Universidade Estadual Paulista), Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas), Fatecs (Faculdades de Tecnologia do Estado de São Paulo) and Univesp (Virtual University of the State of São Paulo).
The Provão has the format of a serial entrance exam, that is, students will take the tests at the end of each high school year. After three years, a single grade will be calculated.
As it is the first edition of the Provão, students who were in the 3rd year in 2023 compete with only one year’s grade.
With the exception of Univesp, all enrollments are intended for the first academic semester of the year. In the case of the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo, classes will begin in the second semester of 2024.
When will the Provão Paulista results come out, 1st, 2nd and 3rd calls?
The three calls with Provão Paulista results will be one week apart. While the first was released this Friday (26), the second will come on the 2nd and the third, on the 9th of February.
How and when will enrollment take place after the Provão Paulista?
Enrollment at universities begins on Monday (29), with a specific procedure for each institution. Check the instructions for USP, Unesp, Unicamp, Fatecs and Univesp.
How will the distribution of places in Provão Paulista be?
In total, Provão Paulista will distribute 15,369 places in public higher education, 1,500 of which will go to USP; 934 for Unesp; 325 for Unicamp; 2,620 vacancies for Univesp; and 10 thousand vacancies for Fatecs.
