Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) became a target of the PCC after prohibiting intimate visits to prisoners in the federal penitentiary system, according to prosecutor Lincoln Gakiya.
“Moro is the target of these criminals because of the ordinance he issued prohibiting intimate visits in the federal penitentiary system. This really displeased these criminals, not only from the PCC, but from all factions”, he says.
Moro was Minister of Justice in the Bolsonaro government, from January 2019 to April 2020.
Like Moro, Gakiya was also in the crosshairs of the plan drawn up by criminal factions to attack public servants and authorities and frustrated by the Federal Police.
On UOL News this Thursday (23), Gakiya provided some details of the criminals’ plan, criticized the political use of the police operation because of the repercussion of Lula’s speech of “F… this Moro” while he was arrested in Curitiba.
“Although the plan itself was discovered in January of this year, the documents and information from the investigations show that the plan has been in progress since August 2022, therefore in the previous government. There is no reason to say that it was something engendered by the government current situation or something similar. Unfortunately, they are making political use of a successful operation”, says the prosecutor.
According to Gakiya, the attack on authorities orchestrated by the PCC (First Command of the Capital), which had himself and Moro as targets, was a ‘plan B’. The first option was to rescue Marcola, head of the criminal faction.
“The plan was not just against Sergio Moro and me. In 2019, the PCC had already determined that the priority was to try to rescue Marcola. They determined this as ‘plan A’ and called it ‘STF’. The ‘plan B’ was the ‘STJ’. If Marcola’s rescue was unsuccessful, it was to trigger ‘plan B’, which consisted of attacks on public agents and kidnapping of authorities to force the government to return Marcola to the São Paulo penitentiary system”, he said.
