The city of Macapá, through the Municipal Coordination of Sports and Leisure (Eat) started this Monday (9) the project “40 Day Challenge”. The purpose of the program is to encourage the practice of physical exercises on a regular basis and offer nutritional guidance so that participants have healthier food options.
Registration will be open until May 15th, through the link. The rules for the “40 Day Challenge” are available on the registration form.
The competition takes place with 20 teams, containing five participants of both sexes, aged between 18 and 58 years. The team that loses the highest percentage of fat during the challenge period wins.
“The regularity of exercises brings countless benefits to people’s lives, when you combine the practice of physical activities with a healthy diet, it is possible to provide a better quality of life. Our goal is to provide the right professionals to guide them on a healthier path”, commented Bruno Church, coordinator of Eat
The project has an award. First place will receive medals and an amount of R$ 2 thousand; the second also receives a medal and R$ 1,000, and the third-place team will take home bronze medals and R$ 500. Two medals will also be given to participants who stand out during the competition.
