The mixed parliamentary commission of inquiry (CPMI) of January 8 postponed until next Tuesday (6) the presentation of the work plan by the rapporteur, senator Eliziane Gama (PSD-MA). According to the senator, the preparation of the plan took into account the hundreds of requests already presented in this initial phase of the CPMI in charge of investigating acts of vandalism against the headquarters of the Three Powers.

For Gama, holding two meetings a week would be “reasonable” for conducting investigations and hearings within the scope of the CPMI. “It is a very plural collegiate, we are talking with leaders of the most varied collegiate parties that are actually part of this commission”, said the rapporteur, informed Agência Câmara.

“Our work plan will try to approximate as much as possible the feeling of the majority of the CPMI. We will make an important work plan, concise and focused on the main object, which is the investigation about the acts of January 8”, he stated. At the first meeting, on May 25, the CPMI chose deputy Arthur Oliveira Maia (União-BA) as president.
