Pix: Planalto sends Caixa to suspend collection of legal entities – 06/20/2023 – Market

The Palácio do Planalto ordered Caixa to withdraw the charge on transfers via Pix from legal entities.
The public bank had informed that it would start charging as of July 19 for customers who are private legal entities, but leaving out MEI (individual micro-entrepreneurs) and public legal entities.
According to the bank, the charge has been authorized by the Central Bank since the end of 2020 and is already carried out by other financial institutions.
