PIM invests in partnership for plastics industry courses

The partnership grew to 62% in Amazonas, reflecting in the economic growth not only of the companies in the Industrial Pole of Manaus

The Training and Consultancy company ‘Inovameta’ leveraged its revenues in 2022 to 62%, compared to 2021. The growth is due to the expansion of partnerships with other companies in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM) and higher education institution in the State .

According to the CEO, Hilton Neto, the firm is focused on the plastics and metalworking industry in the city of Manaus. “In Amazonas, the thermoplastics subsector occupies the fourth largest share in PIM revenues, accounting for 8.13% of all revenue from the local industry, which represents approximately 2.5 billion dollars”, he points out.

Currently, the thermoplastics subsector is responsible for more than 10,000 jobs in the state and employs 8,000 people in the Industrial Pole of the capital of Amazonas.

Hilton Neto also highlighted that new strategic partnerships with industries and the education sector contributed to the commercial development of this segment. “These new partners were really interested in the differential, which are the agility in the service, innovative and international content, personalized according to their reality as collaborators and exclusivity in the region”, he explains.

Among the partners, the adhesion of the Bic da Amazônia factory, where Inovameta began to provide training at the company’s manufacturing school. “This happened through an international program that the company has. Which is basically a school inside the Bic factory itself. Where employees receive specialized training, which are acquitted and promoted by the company itself, after they carry out these trainings. A great appreciation of the company’s internal workforce! This partnership was a success in 2022, and it is extending to 2023”.

Another partner that contributed to the development of the firm was with Grupo Ser Educacional, which manages UniNorte. “In these training courses, we take companies to Uninorte. We use the first-world technological infrastructure of the educational institution as the classroom and laboratories for the development of industries. And BIc da Amazônia was one of those that worked very well in this model. And we are expanding to Uninorte this year a specific training development, mainly for the areas of plastics and technical careers.
