Manaus (AM) – Seeking to expand the sustainable production of the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM), the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti), visited, this Wednesday (19), the company Amera, located in the Industrial District, south of the capital.

The portfolio’s executive secretary, Gustavo Igrejas, reinforced support for reverse logistics projects, which deal with the flow of materials, ensuring the proper disposal of products to avoid pollution in the environment.

Accompanied by the Deputy Executive Secretary for Institutional Relations (Seari), Tayana Rubim and the head of the Department for Attracting Investments and Foreign Trade (Daice), Sidnei Magalhães, Igrejas also highlighted the State’s interest in promoting companies that help preserve the environment .

“Sedecti was at the Amera factory today, a company that works with tire recycling and has a very strong ecological appeal. The government of Amazonas always supports this type of project, which fulfills reverse logistics. The company fills us with pride for being in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, we would even like to encourage other companies of its size, that work with recycling, that they settle here”,

says Churches.

Inaugurated in May of this year, Amera specializes in the production of 100% recyclable materials and reverse logistics. The company developed a technology that transforms discarded tires into ecological and sustainable rubber floors. The factory director, Sueli Cossuol, thanked the team for visiting the facilities.

“It is very important for us to feel this support. We who are starting out need these ‘arms’ to be able to consolidate the operation and be successful in the long term, mainly to increase our objective, which is to gradually increase our production”,

explains.

Reverse logistic

Amera collects the discarded tires and removes the steel present in the products. After this procedure, it sends the material to shredding and transforms it into floors and materials made from recycled rubber.
