PF targets scammers who used the codename ‘Selma party’ – 08/17/2023 – Power

This Thursday morning (17) the Federal Police are carrying out 10 arrest warrants and 16 search warrants in the 14th phase of the Lesa Pátria operation, which targets coup plotters who incited and participated in the attacks on 1/8.
The measures are complied with in the states of Bahia, Goiás, Paraíba, Paraná, Santa Catarina and in the Federal District.
According to the PF, the targets of this phase “are suspected of having fomented the violent movement called “Festa da Selma”, which was, in fact, a codi name previously used to refer to the invasions”.
“The term Festa da Selma was used to invite and organize transport for the invasions, in addition to sharing coordinates and detailed instructions for the invasion of public buildings. terms such as war, occupying Congress and overthrowing the constituted government”, says the PF.
