PF analyzes whether video showing confusion with Moraes was edited

The Federal Police analyzes whether the video that records the confusion with Minister Alexandre de Moraes, in Rome, would have been edited. The corporation asked for the full recording made by Alex Zanatta, who is one of the suspects of harassing the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court. The information was published on the website Power 360.

In a note sent to the press, the lawyer Ralph Tórtima, responsible for the defense of the trio that was involved in the incident in Italy, denied the editing and stated that the video was provided in its entirety. The material is 10 seconds long. The request was made within the scope of the operation requested by the president of the STF, Rosa Webber.

The filming would have started after the minister left the VIP area of ​​the International Airport of Rome, in Italy, and began to photograph the couple Roberto and Andreia Mantovani and Zanatta.

“The video has been provided in its entirety. As clarified in his testimony, Alex Zanatta said that he started filming when Minister Alexandre de Moraes arrived, coming from inside the VIP room, and started to photograph them. Had Alex been filming earlier, he would have appeared with his cell phone in his hands in the photographs taken by Minister Alexandre de Moraes. This is incontrovertible proof that the recording was offered in its entirety, without cuts and edits, reiterate”, he informed.

In a statement to the PF, Zanatta said he saw Moraes’ son cursing Andreia Munarão, wife of businessman Roberto Mantovani Filho. He denied that he had attacked Moraes and his relatives and also reported having filmed the moment he was offended by the minister.

In the contradictory to the PF, the STF minister claimed that he was in the airport departure area around 7 pm when Andreia Munarão approached and started cursing. He alleged that Roberto Mantovani Filho “started screaming and, getting close to my son, Alexandre Barci de Moraes, pushed him and slapped his glasses. The people present intervened and the confusion was stopped”.
