Petrobras sees Lula’s positive sign for the company in criticism of the minister – 06/04/2023 – Panel

Discreetly, the leadership of Petrobras celebrated the ear pulling given by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, because of the fuel price policy.
During breakfast with the press, the PT member stated that the government is still going to debate a change in the calculation. The statement was a response to an announcement made by Silveira on Wednesday (5) that the state-owned company would change its commercial policy to adopt a new model.
At the state-owned company, the message was read as a new breath for the company’s president, Jean Paul Prates, to be able to work, now that he has managed to complete his new board, without former Bolsonaro administration.
Prates had been charged internally in the government and in the PT for faster changes in the direction of the state-owned company, involving the suspension of the divestment policy, among other points.
