Manaus (AM) – Registration for the Sport and Leisure Program in the Capital and Interior, the + Pelci will start next week. As announced by Governor Wilson Lima, on Friday (3), the program offers more than 5,000 vacancies. Re-enrollment starts on Monday (6th) until March 10th and enrollment for new students will take place between March 13th and 17th.
“+Pelci came to make history. For this purpose, Governor Wilson Lima is committed to ensuring that the sport is promoted from its base, so that new high-performance talents can be discovered”, declared the CEO of Faar, Jorge Oliveira.
There are more than 35 centers in the capital and six centers located in the municipalities of Tabatinga, São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Humaitá, Codajás, Envira and Fonte Boa. Registration starts from this Monday (06/03), for re-enrollment of students who are already part of the projects and, for new students, registration starts on March 13.
In the Champions of the Village project alone, which is linked to +Pelci and works in the Olympic Village of Manaus, there will be 1,200 new vacancies for new students between 8 and 17 years old, in activities such as athletics, basketball, futsal, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, handball, judo, table tennis, volleyball and chess.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in one of the modalities should go to one of the nuclei scattered in various areas of the Amazonian capital, from 8 am to 3 pm. Attendances will take place from Monday to Friday, and those responsible must have the necessary documents, which are: copy of RG, copy of CPF, school statement, photo taken and proof of residence.
With 1 year of existence and approximately 10,000 athletes assisted, +Pelci becomes the largest socio-sporting project in Brazil. Now, with the expansion, the program should serve more than 15,000 young people and children.
