O PDT-AP holds this Friday, 22nd, the North Regional Meeting, for debate and taking a position on various topics, which will be the contribution of the party in the region to the development of a national political, party and electoral project.
Meetings similar to the one that will be held in the state, by the PDT, will take place in the five regions of Brazil, throughout the current year, with the themes of laborism together with the party’s leaders and activists. To publicize the PED movement, state deputy Jesus Pontes and legal advisor João Pedro Góes, both from the party, were on the program this Thursday morning, 21st. ‘LuizMeloEntrevista’ (Diário FM 90.9).
The meeting, which will also have support from the Leonel Brizola-Alberto Pasqualini Foundation (FLB-AP), will take place in the plenary of the Legislative Assembly, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. There are no more in-person vacancies for the event, which will also be broadcast on social media.
PDT leaders and representatives from across the North, federal and state parliamentarians, mayors, councilors, leaders of grassroots movements and general PDT activists will be present at the debate.
Also confirmed to be present are the national president of FLB-AP and national general secretary of the PDT, Manoel Dias; the acting national president of the PDT, federal deputy André Figueiredo; acting president of the PDT of Amapá, teacher Silvanda Duarte; Minister of Integration and Regional Development, Waldez Góes; vice governor Teles Junior; state representative Aldilene Souza and the state president of Labor Women’s Action, Renata Apostolo.
The following topics will be discussed at the meeting: environment, agriculture and sustainability, cities, governance and innovation, health and national security, work, employment and income and education and citizenship.
