PCC plan to kill Moro had bunker as captivity and weapons stock, says Dino – 03/22/2023 – Politics

The Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, said this Wednesday (22) that the Federal Police found evidence of the setting up of bunkers in Paraná to kidnap or store weapons to prepare the murder of Senator Sergio Moro.
In an interview shortly before an IASP (São Paulo Lawyers Institute) event, Dino stated that the investigations began about 45 days ago after a communication from the President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco.
Dino declared that there is “bad character” on the part of politicians who are associating critical speeches by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva about Moro with the PF operation.
“It’s vile, it’s frivolous, any link between these events and Brazilian politics is inappropriate. I’m amazed at the level of bad character of anyone who tries to politicize a serious investigation.”
This Tuesday, Lula and Moro exchanged barbs again. Lula recalled that, during the period in which he was imprisoned in Curitiba, he used to tell prosecutors who came to visit him that he was going to “fuck that Moro”. The senator then countered Lula and said that the president wants to take revenge on the Brazilian people.
This Wednesday (22) the Federal Police carried out a series of steps to dismantle a plan by the PCC criminal faction that intended to carry out attacks against authorities. One of the targets was former judge and current senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR).
24 search and seizure warrants, 7 preventive arrest warrants and 4 temporary arrest warrants are served in Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, São Paulo and Paraná. At least 9 have already been arrested, 6 men and 3 women, all in São Paulo. Two of the suspects remain at large.
“On the PCC’s retaliation plans against me, my family and other public agents, I will make a statement in the afternoon from the Senate tribune. For now, I thank the PF, PM/PR, Senate and Chamber legislative police, PM/ SP, MPE/SP, and their leaders for their support and work done”, said Moro in the morning on his social networks.
