Literatus is the only institution in Manaus to offer the ASB course in the Distance Learning modality

Manaus (AM) – Among the most requested professionals in the health area is the Oral Health Assistant (ASB). Those who choose this training have several advantages, including fast training, opportunities to work in private practices, popular clinics and even public institutions, in addition to a salary of R$ 2,300.

Among the duties of the ASB is to assist the dentist in the routine of the clinic, whether organizing the instruments that will be used in procedures or providing support in consultations.

“Many people invest in this training because it lasts only seven months, so in a short time they will already be working in the job market”,

informed the professor of the ASB course at the Centro de Ensino Literatus and dentist, Maycon Luiz.

The ASB course is also sought after by those who dream of working as a dentist one day, but for financial reasons there is currently no way to invest in higher education.

A reference in Professional Education, Literatus is the only institution in Manaus to offer the Distance Learning (EaD) ASB course, which allows the student to study, work and handle other day-to-day commitments.

For student Elaine Gomes, 31 years old, who has already worked in the area and is now seeking training, the large number of vacancies in the area and the speed to enter the market were the main attractions for betting on the course.

“Because it is an EaD course, I saved on transportation and, as I have a young son, the possibility of doing the theoretical classes at home ended up making my routine easier”,

said Elaine, emphasizing that it is essential to have discipline and stay focused on studies.

Sisters Jéssica Moreira, 25, and Vanessa Moreira, 28, also decided to invest in training, who are taking a distance learning course for the first time.

“I enrolled in the course on the recommendation of my sister-in-law, who is a dentist. And I am enjoying it a lot, I keep counting down the days for the face-to-face practical classes”,

comments Jessica.

Vanessa says she was unmotivated with the course she was taking at another institution and found the opportunity to work in a promising area at ASB.

“I was working at night and my routine was very hectic, I was tired and had no time for anything, and I saw the ASB training as a chance to start a new career”,

he said.
