With the success of previous years, the Nova Era group once again puts into practice the Better Age project, opening more than 130 vacancies for people aged 60 and over, to reinforce teams during the Christmas holiday period. There are 107 vacancies for packers in Manaus, 18 in Porto Velho (RO) and 18 in Boa Vista (RR).

The group has already started the recruitment process, primarily with people who have already participated in the project in previous years. But there are still plenty of vacancies available. “This project has been in existence since 2019 and has been very successful and accepted. The Group has more than 60 employees in various sectors and, with the project, seeks to identify those who are not part of the market and who need the opportunity to carry out a paid activity”, explains Nova Era’s Human Resources manager, Roseane True.

She also highlights the importance of children and other relatives offering help to elderly people who, in some way, have difficulty dealing with the internet, to make it easier for them to register for vacancies.

Returning to the job market after retirement is due to several factors. Among them, the desire to get back into action and feel useful. For the Nova Era group, it is a bet on the experience and competence that elderly people demonstrate in the exercise of their activities and the Best Age project comes with this desire to encourage and strengthen all positive characteristics for the work environment, in addition to following the trend global labor market, in promoting age diversity.
