Neymar debuts with an assist in the rout of Al-Hilal – News of Brazil
After surpassing Pelé in goals with the Brazilian team’s shirt in Belém, striker Neymar finally made his debut with the Al Hilal shirt.
Even without scoring, the Brazilian assisted on one of the goals in the team’s 6-1 victory over Al-Riyadh, in a game held this Friday (15), in the Saudi Championship.
Before the Brazilian’s arrival, the team led by Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus was already winning 4-0, with a show from striker Mitrovic. Brazilian Malcom also scored one of the goals in the match, with a pass from Neymar.
The number 10 still tried to score his goal, but the goalkeeper saved it and left the rebound for Al-Dawsari, who completed the rout to the delight of the Al-Hilal fans.
With the triumph, Neymar’s team took the lead in the competition with 16 points, one more than Al-Ittihad, a club that has French striker Benzema as one of its highlights.
Neymar played part of the second half and with an average performance he could have more time on the field in the next match, although his team achieved an elastic score. *DOL
