New supermarket in Curitiba opens 1st store inside a shopping mall

Super Adoratto opens its first physical store in Curitiba, inside Jockey Plaza Shopping, one of the largest in the city, in the Tarumã neighborhood. Founded in 2020, the new supermarket will have 1,200 square meters of built area, installed on the L1 floor of the shopping center. The opening is scheduled for December 14th.

“It’s one of the things (the opening of a supermarket) that customers ask for most since the mall opened. The chain is new, it will focus on a gourmet concept and it will be great to offer this extra facility to our customers”, explained Michelle Cirqueira, marketing manager at Jockey Plaza.

The owners of Adoratto have an import company, and decided to invest in retail to work directly with end customers. The opportunity, according to the owners of the project, arose from the identification of a market need.

Mall employees, customers and surrounding residents wanted an option like the one now offered by Adoratto. The location is strategic as it is in a region of the city that is growing a lot but is still little explored.

In a statement sent to Paraná Tribune, the company states that its difference will be to deliver a good experience to the consumer. In addition to the common products found in markets, the store will also focus on minimally processed products, such as salads, fruit salads and bakery products.

The new supermarket will have a wine cellar, butcher’s shop, bakery, produce, sushi, gourmet area – an on-site restaurant, displaced from the food area – and other service offerings.

The creation of the store will result in the creation of 100 direct jobs and many more indirect jobs.

The supermarket is hiring professionals for various roles. The list of available vacancies includes:

• Repositor
• Butcher
• Fruit and vegetable store
• Production assistant
• Caretaker
• Security
