New PRF superintendent in Amapá is sworn in at a ceremony at OAB – News of Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) held, on the morning of this Monday, the 5th, the inauguration ceremony of the new superintendent of the institution in Amapá, inspector Klebson Birth.
The director general, Antonio Fernando Souza Oliveira, presided over the ceremony, which took place in the auditorium of the OAB-AP. the inspector klebson he was appointed to the position in March, but taking office depended on accommodating the general director’s agenda, who could only come to the state today.
klebson is from Macapa. He joined the institution in 1994. Since then, he has worked in inspections and held the positions of substitute head of the Operations Center and substitute regional inspector in Amapá, between 2005 and 2008. From 2008 to 2014, he served as regional inspector in Amapá, and then , held the position of superintendent of the PRF in Amapá between 2016 and 2018.
The new superintendent has a degree in Mathematics and Law, in addition to having obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Public Policy, all from the Federal University of Amapá (Unifap).
The ceremony, at the headquarters of the OAB, was attended by civil servants from the PRF and authorities from the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branches, as well as representatives from other police forces and partner institutions.
A PRF, in addition to working to maintain traffic safety on federal roads, it operates in conjunction with other agencies in the pursuit of greater efficiency in combating crime.
One hundred and thirty active police officers form the contingent of the Federal Highway Police in the state of Amapá, distributed in its three operational units and in the administration.
