Mueller Bom Gourmet Festival closes with record number of participants

This Friday (30) comes to an end the Mueller Bom Gourmet Festival, a gastronomic experience promoted in partnership by Shopping Mueller and Bom Gourmet. With almost 100% occupancy on all days and times, 3,927 menus were sold and many experiences lived by the participants in these 30 days of the event. “The success of the festival has a special meaning for the mall. The initiative drew public attention to one of the main investments and reinventions made by Mueller in recent years – the Mueller Gourmet space. So we were very happy with the impact and with the success of this season”, says Cynthia Maia Batista, marketing manager at Shopping Mueller.”

The Festival promoted the opportunity to have a complete meal – lunch, afternoon coffee or dinner – inside one of the ten igloos with a panoramic view, which were installed on the rooftop of Espaço Gourmet/Floor L4 of Shopping Mueller.

More than 20 gastronomic operations operating in the mall offered exclusive lunch and dinner menus (R$89) and afternoon coffee combos (R$49). Among the options available were Japanese, Argentinian, Italian, Arabic and North American dishes, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes. Children were also contemplated, with kids menu options (R$ 49) for lunch and dinner. For the afternoon coffee combos, coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches and sweets were offered. In addition, participants were also able to purchase wines in advance, completing the experience.

Special moments in the igloos

The igloos were also the setting for many special moments, such as birthday celebrations, family and friends gatherings, dating and marriage proposals. Among the clients who attended the event were the couple Marcelo Fabiano and Fernanda Huss. They chose the occasion to celebrate their 3rd anniversary, on June 5th, with a special decoration with flowers and balloons. “Our experience in the igloo was incredible”, says Fernanda. The couple was also one of the lucky ones to book the igloo for Valentine’s Day dinner – reservations for the date were the first to sell out, in a matter of minutes.

And, to close the edition with a golden key and seal the successful partnership, the event received, last Tuesday (27), in São Paulo, the silver medal in the Abrasce Award. The annual award recognizes the best and most innovative projects in the country developed by shopping centers.

For Andréa Sorgenfrei, head of Pinó – the business unit of Gazeta do Povo responsible for the Bom Gourmet Festival and other initiatives -, the partnership with Mueller is a source of pride and the success of the event is proof of the strength of the two brands. “This was the first project of naming rights of Bom Gourmet, which associated the 16-year tradition of its name to the Shopping Mueller brand”, he highlights.

Last year, the initiative had already won 1st place in the Top de Marketing award, with the case A co-branding action of brands 100% from Curitiba. The action was elected the best in the Retail category of the award promoted by the Association of Sales and Marketing Directors of Brazil – Paraná Section (ADVB/PR).
