The Attorney General of the State of São Paulo, Mario Sarrubbo, was in charge of personally informing federal authorities about the plan of the PCC (First Command of the Capital) for an attack against Senator Sergio Moro (União-PR).
As soon as Gaeco, a group to combat organized crime that operates in the state Public Ministry, obtained the information, at the beginning of the year, Sarrubbo traveled to Brasília to talk to representatives of the Powers in the capital. Then began the mounting of the operation to disrupt the plan.
What caught Sarrubo’s attention at the time was the fact that Moro’s name appeared in the intercepts carried out by the MP’s intelligence sector.
Threats against prosecutor Lincoln Gakiya, another of the PCC’s targets, are commonplace, so much so that he walks around with reinforced security all the time.
