Last week, the minister ordered the blocking of the influencer’s networks
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), determined, this Wednesday (21), that the digital influencer Bruno Monteiro Aiub, known as Monark, give testimony to the Federal Police (PF) within ten days.
Last week, Moraes ordered the blocking of the influencer’s social networks after publishing a video on the social network Rumble, on June 5th. In the recording, Bruno Aiub comments on the role of the Supreme Court and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and hints at the credibility of the electoral process.
The minister determined the influencer’s testimony in five days, but the defense asked for access to the process before giving testimony. After authorizing access, Moraes granted another ten-day period.
“Mr. Bruno informs that he is entirely available to provide his clarifications in this case, without creating any obstacle to the completion of the investigations. However, he will not be able to do so without first having access to the entirety of the records, all of their appendices”
said the defense.
After Moraes’ decision, the Rumble and Twitter appealed the blocking of Monark’s accounts. The companies argue that any illegal content should be removed, but without completely suspending the account.
