The Ministry of Agrarian Development is preparing, for the next few days, the dismissal of 19 regional superintendents from Incra (National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform). The measure contemplates a demand presented by popular movements in the countryside, which demanded an energetic action from the portfolio in relation to the leaders.

Since the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) began, only six superintendents of the body have been exonerated. The permanence of managers appointed by Jair Bolsonaro (PL) almost a month after the PT’s inauguration has bothered groups such as the MST (Movement of Landless Rural Workers), which report the occurrence of problems with settlements and camps.
