Michelle accuses the left of wanting to legalize the murder of children

Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro stated this Sunday (24) that the left in the country “tries to legalize the murder of children through their equipment”, in a clear reference to the progress in the liberalization of abortion in the Federal Supreme Court (STF), and for the “use of means to try to silence contrary opinions”, in addition to wanting to “liberate drugs and destroy families”. Her statement was made via video conference on the second day of the fourth edition of CPAC Brasil, the Brazilian edition of the largest conservative event in the world, which took place in Belo Horizonte.

The president of PL Mulher also listed other aspects of the “dismantling” of initiatives implemented during the four years of the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government within the conservative agenda, which she considers to still be supported by the majority of Brazilians. Among these points raised is the effort to respect taxpayers and facilitate entrepreneurship in the country. “We brought good results, despite the persecution we had and still have from the system,” she said.

She also invited participants to come out in defense of right-wing and family values ​​as opposed to “useless and destructive ideologies”, such as those that transform students in public schools into activists. “We will continue to defend freedom of expression, religion and the press,” she added.

Bolsonaro sees “problem” in candidacy for mayor of SP

At the same meeting, former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) also spoke via video conference to highlight that “the left is the enemy of humanity”. “The right has always been united. What we lack is, more and more, we get our north right. As a whole, we are doing well. We started very late in relation to the left, which, I always say, are not our opponents. They are enemies of humanity, enemies of citizens, enemies of freedom,” he said. For him, his government served to awaken millions of people to the need to come together to defend the future of the nation.

Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) emphasized the importance of addressing internal issues within his party in various regions of the country as the 2024 municipal elections approach. Although he did not mention names or details, he used São Paulo as an example of this challenge. This observation coincides with the moment in which the current mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), tries to balance a stance of distance in relation to the former president, taking care not to lose his support, at the same time that he seeks to win voters more inclined to the left, to face competition from Guilherme Boulos (PSol).

This ambivalent behavior has caused frustration among Bolsonaro’s followers. On the other hand, Nunes’ allies believe that a possible PL candidate, more aligned with Bolsonaro, could fragment the right-wing vote and harm the mayor’s plans. However, they also want to avoid polarization.

Zema preaches right-wing unity in the 2024 municipal elections
