Governor Clécio Luís went to the Legislative Assembly this Friday afternoon, 3, to give the Executive’s message. as is customary at the beginning of the legislative year. After the formal greetings, the representative from Amapa said that he was in the plenary of the House of Laws to talk about a new time that has arrived and that Alap is inserted and connected in the context.
“In the next lines, I bring more than the set of strategic goals that we want to dialogue with parliament, with the other powers and, mainly, with the population to overcome our main problems and develop Amapá. I bring a proposal for a pact of union, work and commitment to the future of our state, which starts now”, said the governor.
Clécio noted that today there is a profound technological revolution in full swing, accelerating processes, creating solutions for people’s lives that are accessed in the palm of the hand.
“The challenges are big and complex, they demand collective solutions, they need the commitment of all powers, organized civil society and the population in general. And it must always be under our horizon so that every time our differences want to surface, we can understand that what unites us is much bigger than us individually, which is our Amapá”, highlighted. Clécio Luís said: “I am one of those who believe in the power of ideas as the main weapon of politics. And that politics is only done collectively and its greatest benefit is the community. Let’s not waste time on blame or blame. We understand that each time presents potentials and contradictions. And we are going to focus our energies on running after the solutions that the present time demands of us so that in the future Amapá is closer to what we all want”.
The governor showed that after a pandemic, economic conditions in the world are not at all favorable. “At the last meeting in Davos”, he recalled, “the World Economic Forum, held between the 16th and 20th of January, the agenda that most consumed the heads of states was the possibility of a global recession”.
Clécio said he believes in the new agenda that President Lula is presenting to Brazil and in the conduct of the federal government to circumvent any bumps or reduce possible negative effects on the states and on the poorest part of the population.
“In the responsibility assigned to the state, we are organized to do our homework and accomplish everything we have committed to our people. As I said, we will work to develop the state for everyone”, He went on to say that in the economic sector he will strengthen AFAP as the financial arm of the state, including the green economy, clean energy, support for existing companies and the emergence of new ones with the endorsement of the Green Seal.
“Programs aimed at income transfer will be improved, when necessary, and expanded in order to guarantee the dignity of those in a situation of social vulnerability”, also said the manager.
Clécio also promised to continue the works in progress in the area of infrastructure, such as the construction and paving of highways, bridges in concrete and wood, housing units, public buildings and public areas, renovation and construction of hospitals in the state capital and countryside.
In the message, Clécio Luís also spoke of health, repeating that it was an absolute, immediate and non-negotiable priority of his government, and also public safety and management.
