MEC ends today registration for the contest

This Monday (28th), at 6 pm, the deadline for enrollment in the Ministry of Education (MEC) public tender for 220 vacancies at a higher level in the position of Technician in Educational Affairs. According to Public Notice 1/2023, those approved will have a workday of 40 hours per week and remuneration of BRL 6,255.90, “of which R$ 2,419.90 as basic salary and R$ 3,836.00 referring to the Performance Bonus of the General Plan for Positions of the Executive Branch”informed the MEC.

To compete for vacancies, candidates must have a higher education graduation course conclusion diploma, in any area of ​​training, provided by a higher education institution recognized by the MEC.

“The 220 vacancies are distributed among broad competition (165), candidates with disabilities (11) and black candidates (44)“, details the ministry when informing that the indication in the type of vacancy must be made in the act of registration, “with submission of documentation specified in the public notice”.

Applications, made through the Cebraspe website, will only be confirmed after payment of the R$80 fee, but there are cases in which the candidate may request exemption.

“The procedure is aimed at people with a Single Registry (CadÚnico), supported by Decree Nos. 6,593/2008 and 11,016/2022; or for those who are bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health, according to Law nº 13.656/2018”,

reports the MEC.

The request must be made by sending supporting documentation. Whoever has the request rejected must pay the Union Collection Guide (GRU) until September 11th.

At the time of registration, the candidate must inform the number of his Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF) and send an individual photograph, taken in the last six months prior to the date of publication of the public notice.

‘The image must necessarily show the head (without being covered) and the shoulders of the candidate”, explains the ministry.

The last MEC contest for higher-level positions was in 2004.

The contest will have two objective tests, with 50 questions about basic knowledge and 70 specific ones, in addition to a discursive writing evaluation. The application of the tests will be on October 8, and will last 4h30.

“Each question of the objective tests will consist of an item that must be judged right or wrong by the candidate. There will be charges for Portuguese language content, constitutional law, public policies, among others. The essay, on the other hand, is a dissertation text of up to 30 lines on a current topic, public administration and/or public education”,

details the MEC.
