MC Marcinho is intubated after suffering cardiac arrest in RJ

The funk singer MC Marcinho suffered a cardiac arrest and needed to be intubated at the Copa d’Or Hospital, in Rio de Janeiro, on Monday (10). The funk star has been hospitalized since June 27 to treat a heart disease.

The medical bulletin released this Tuesday (11) reported that Marcinho has heart disease and chronic kidney disease, suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, requiring cardiac support by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

Mauro Garcia, the singer’s brother, asked the MC’s fans to pray for Marcinho’s recovery.

“I wanted to ask people to help me in prayer for my brother. He got worse, had to intubate. Family is all I have,” he asked in a video.

The MC’s advisory made a post informing the stable but delicate health condition that the singer is in.
