MBL and Vem pra Rua criticize Zanin’s approval for the STF

The Vem Pra Rua group criticized the approval of the name of lawyer Cristiano Zanin to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) on social networks. The post features a video of one of the leaders of the movement, Adelaide Oliveira, who compared the situation with the appointment of Alexandre Ramagem by then President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to command the Federal Police.
At the time, Ramagem’s tenure as director general of the PF was suspended by Minister Alexandre de Moraes. Ramagem’s appointment caused controversy due to the delegate’s proximity to the Bolsonaro family.
“Everything changes all the time… Has the STF changed the understanding of how the principle of impersonality is applied? In 2020 the president cannot nominate Ramagem because he is a friend, but Lula can nominate Zanin because he is a friend. Before it couldn’t. Now you can! #ZaninNão #VemPraRua”, said the group.
The Movimento Brasil Livre (MBL) criticized the performance of supporters of former President Bolsonaro (PL) on the Sabbath. “Congratulations, Flávio Bolsonaro and to all Bolsonaristas who have spent the last few weeks relieving Zanin. These made the L [em referência a Lula] with taste”, said the group in the twitter after approval.
