Mayor sanctions law that adjusts PCCR of Non-Specific Area servers

Manaus (AM) – The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, sanctioned, last Wednesday (21), Law nº 3.078, which establishes the alterations in Law nº 2.928/2022, which instituted the Positions, Careers and Remuneration Plan (PCCR) of civil servants of the Non-Specific Area, of the city hall.

The need for changes was identified during the verification process by the standing committee, made up of civil servants from the Municipal Secretariat for Administration, Planning and Management (Semad), responsible for framing and functional evolution of the approximately 1,100 civil servants contemplated by the plan.

Law nº 3.078 was published in edition nº 5610, of the Official Gazette of the Municipality (DOM) and its effects start from the validity of the law that created the plan, July 7, 2022.

“The approval of the PCCR is an old dream for this group of professionals, who did not have a legal mechanism that would allow them to grow in the public service, where they have been working for decades. Many of them attended college, specialized, but because they were not supported by a plan, they could not progress in their careers. Others reached retirement time with nothing to add to their benefits. Everything is being done so that they have equal conditions with civil servants in areas that are already supported by this instrument, such as health, education and finance”,

said the mayor, when sanctioning the changes.

Law No. 2,928, which created the Position, Career and Remuneration Plan (PCCR) for effective public servants in the Non-Specific Area of ​​the Municipal Executive Branch, was approved by the Manaus City Council (CMM) in July last year. Soon after, the commission was set up, in charge of analyzing the functional life of each civil servant reached by the plan.

“Our technicians noticed that there were points that could give rise to dubious interpretations about the requirements for inclusion, among other nomenclature issues that needed to be adjusted. With this, our servers in the non-specific area are protected in their rights”,

explained the head of Semad, Ebenezer Bezerra.
