The Minister of the Environment, Marina Silva, is still hospitalized with a clinical picture of Covid-19 and sinusitis. She was admitted to InCor (Institute of the Heart), in São Paulo, early this Saturday (6) and is still under observation.
In the medical bulletin released this Sunday (7), the hospital informs that the “clinical condition [de Marina] it remains stable and with good evolution”. It is not mentioned whether there is a forecast for discharge.
The minister is accompanied by three professionals: cardiologist Sérgio Timerman, infectologist Tânia Mara Varejão Strabelli, and by the director of InCor’s pneumology division, Carlos Roberto Ribeiro de Carvalho.

Last week, the minister attended the Terra Livre Camp, an event organized by indigenous peoples to claim their rights. In addition to her, other ministers, such as that of Indigenous Peoples, Sônia Guajajara, and President Lula (PT) himself were at the event.
On the occasion, the president stated that no indigenous land will remain undemarcated until 2026, the final year of his current mandate.
On Twitter, Marina Silva wrote that she participated in all editions of the event — this is the 19th. “The fight for the preservation of the culture of the native peoples and the protection of our forests is a fight for all Brazilians”, she added.
