Minister Marina Silva (Environment and Climate Change) felt indisposed and was hospitalized this Monday (13) in Brasília after canceling her scheduled schedule for the day.
According to the ministry’s press office, the minister has flu symptoms and is awaiting test results. She is in a private hospital in the federal capital.
Marina canceled the statement to the press that she would give this Monday with the Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economy and Climate Action of Germany, Robert Habeck.
In early March, the minister was in Roraima and visited the Yanomami Indigenous Land to verify the situation in the region. She also traveled to Bethlehem and met political leaders.
Marina was a presidential candidate in 2010 and 2014 and Minister of the Environment in Lula’s first two terms, from 2003 to 2008.
