Manu Buffara doesn’t stop! The Curitiba chef elected the best in Latin America in 2022 debuts on television this Tuesday (26), in the sixth season of the culinary reality show “The Taste Brasil”. Alongside Manu Ferraz, chef at the Baianeira restaurant, in São Paulo, Manu joins the program’s team of chef mentors and judges, competing with veterans Claude Troisgros and Felipe Bronze in the search for a surprising and unique flavor among the participants, tasting just a spoonful of their dishes.

The new season of the reality show will have ten episodes, in which the four chefs select contestants blindly and assemble a team with four cooks each. In each program, participants are challenged to present the best flavor in just one spoon, and mentors must be careful in deciding whether or not to save a cook from elimination.

“‘The Taste Brasil’ is, first and foremost, about flavor. When that spoon arrives for you to taste, you don’t know who cooked it, there is no storytelling. It’s about the flavor and that’s the end of it”, defines Manu Buffara. Accustomed to the fast pace of cooking, the chef says that the experience on television was intense: there were 15 days of work, each with 12 hours of recording. Although it was just over two weeks, the chef says it was enough time to make good friends within the team, such as studio partners and the program director, Rachel Jane.

The sixth season of “The Taste Brasil” premieres this Tuesday (26), with new episodes always on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 6 pm on Globoplay and at 10 pm on GNT. All tutorials and details of the dishes presented in the program are available on the website and in the Recipes app.
