The event addresses the role of technology in education and its application in different areas
Manaus (AM) – The third edition of the International Conference on Information Technology & Education (Icited) comes to an end this Friday (30) in Manaus, with a program full of lectures and face-to-face and virtual presentations of 143 research papers carried out by specialists from over from 20 countries.
Sponsored by the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal), the Nilton Lins University and the Higher School of Propaganda and Marketing (ESPM/SP), the event was held on the campus of Parque das Laranjeiras and provided a multidisciplinary meeting focused on the discussion and presentation of approaches related to innovation, entrepreneurship and application of technological tools in the field of education around the world.
“For Nilton Lins it is an honor to be with these two great institutions in the realization of Icited and to host the work of more than 140 researchers from all over the world to bring to the Amazon this variety of new information and challenges of education in the coming years. We are sure that this is the beginning of several other joint international partnerships”,
highlighted the Rector Giselle Lins Maranhão, during the opening ceremony of the conference.
One of the main topics addressed during the event was the role of new technologies in education and their application in different areas, such as arts, philosophy and science.
In addition, the relationship between this scenario and the labor market in constant digital transformation was also widely discussed. Participants explored ways to keep up with this evolution and how future professionals can improve their skills and use new technologies such as GPT Chat and artificial intelligence to improve student achievement and shape the future of education.
