The game

At home, Manauara started the match with more ball possession, while Princesa bet on the speed of its front players. The first chance to score only came in the 21st minute, when Willian Daltro stole the ball in the attack and left Matheus Lima ready to invade the area and finish, but the number 9 was stopped by defender Paulinho at the time of the shot.

Ten minutes later, Manauara’s response came. Sacramento was activated from the left, faced the marking and rolled to Tibúrcio, who, already inside the area, sent it over the goal. In the 37th minute, Robot created the clearest chance yet. Sacramento received it in the middle and used Palmares, who finished firmly towards the goal, but Jonathan Braz palmed it and when the ball was going in, the Tubarão goalkeeper kept the ball.

After the break, Manauara came back on top and after two minutes, Éder received a throw-in inside the area and finished for the goal, Braz saved, and on the rebound, the number 7 tried again and the Princesa goalkeeper made the save again. At 15 minutes, it was Luizinho’s turn to receive the ball inside the area and, without an angle, finish for the goal, but Braz held on.

At 25, Princesa’s first chance came in the second stage. João Victor received it on the right and tried it from outside the area and the ball went dangerously out. The match continued with Manauara with more possession of the ball, while Princesa tried to hold on.

However, Tubarão arrived in danger at 45, when Marquinhos Baiano took a low free kick towards the goal and Jonathan went to the corner to get it. Afterwards, after a corner in the area, Rodolfo finished without an angle and Jonathan intervened again.
