Manaus (AM) – In their debuts in the second round of the 2024 Amazonense Championship, Manauara and Princesa do Solimões drew 0-0, this Sunday afternoon (3), at the Carlos Zamith stadium. Princesa do Solimões ‘takes time off’ in the second round and returns to the field on the 14th, at 7:30 pm, also against RPE Parintins, at the Gilbertão stadium, in Manacapuru (80 kilometers from Manaus), for the third round.
The game
At home, Manauara started the match with more ball possession, while Princesa bet on the speed of its front players. The first chance to score only came in the 21st minute, when Willian Daltro stole the ball in the attack and left Matheus Lima ready to invade the area and finish, but the number 9 was stopped by defender Paulinho at the time of the shot.

At 15 minutes, it was Luizinho’s turn to receive the ball inside the area and, without an angle, finish for the goal, but Braz held on.
At 25, Princesa’s first chance came in the second stage. João Victor received it on the right and tried it from outside the area and the ball went dangerously out. The match continued with Manauara with more possession of the ball, while Princesa tried to hold on.
However, Tubarão arrived in danger at 45, when Marquinhos Baiano took a low free kick towards the goal and Jonathan went to the corner to get it. Afterwards, after a corner in the area, Rodolfo finished without an angle and Jonathan intervened again.
