Man is arrested for participating in ‘trawl’ and stealing cell phones in Manaus

Criminal action was recorded by security camera images and accomplice remains at large
Manaus (AM) – Fabiano Jorge Araújo da Silva, aged 22, was arrested, on Wednesday (13), for participating in a ‘trawl’ robbery in July this year, in the Cachoeirinha neighborhood, south of Manaus.
According to the head of the 1st Integrated Police District (DIP), delegate Cícero Túlio, the criminal action was recorded by images from nearby security cameras, which show 26-year-old Luiz Henrique da Cruz Sounier, called “Cabelinho ”, who is being sought, getting out of the black vehicle, in possession of a firearm, stealing cell phones from the victims.
“Based on these images, it was possible to identify the car used in the crime, and Fabiano was later identified as the driver of the vehicle. Therefore, he was represented in court for his arrest, and the court order was issued by the Police Inquiry Court”,
said the delegate.
According to the police authority, he was located and arrested on Avenida Duque de Caxias, Praça 14 de Janeiro neighborhood, in that same area of the city. The other suspects who also participated in the robbery had already been arrested during the investigations, leaving only Luiz Henrique da Cruz Sounier, who is being sought, to be captured.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Luiz Henrique da Cruz Sounier should contact the number (92) 98503-8913, the 1st DIP hotline, or 181, the State Secretariat of Public Security (SSP-AM). “The identity of the informant will be kept confidential,” said the delegate.
Procedures
Fabiano will be charged with robbery and criminal association. He will undergo a custody hearing and will be available to the Court.
