This Monday morning (4), the mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan and the municipal secretaries Monick França (Semed), Cassio Cruz (Semob), Jean Patrick (Transparency and Controllership), attorney Thayane Tuma (Progem) and more 16 school managers from the city signed the Management Adjustment Term (TAG), at an event held by the Court of Auditors of the State of Amapá (TCE-AP), in the Sebrae auditorium, in the central area of the city.
The signing of the TAG is a commitment by the bodies to improve the demands raised by TCE Amapá, through the Together for Education project, where teams carried out technical visits to schools across the state, mapping difficulties in public education and also the good practices carried out in these school units, both in urban and rural areas.
During the event, reports were delivered to municipal representatives containing the survey of the 1st stage of the Together for Education project, with the diagnosis of the educational units visited, demonstrating the failures and good practices of each one, thus allowing these institutions to know their realities and begin to develop pedagogical strategies to advance further, aiming to achieve better learning and development rates in basic education.
The mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan, spoke of the importance of TAG for improving education in the municipality and highlighted the education agenda as a priority.
“By signing the Management Adjustment Term, we will advance even further in the municipality’s education, which is one of our priorities. In less than 3 years of management, we have already delivered 23 renovated and expanded schools to society. In addition to the 8 teaching units, whose works are in progress. We fight tirelessly so that our children can develop in a safe, healthy and inclusive environment,” highlighted the mayor.
Likewise, the municipal secretary of education, Monick França, emphasized the partnership with the Together for Education project, as a tool to further leverage the educational processes already developed in the municipality’s schools. “Semed already develops pedagogical projects in municipal schools, aimed at improving good practices applied in the classroom and this Management Adjustment Term strengthens these practices in favor of the quality of education that we so desire”said the secretary.
The event also provided visibility to local producers and writers, providing space for them to sell their products and literary works.
