Lula says that Bolsonaro’s ineligibility is a “justice problem”

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) spoke this Saturday (1st) regarding the judgment of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) that on Friday (30th) made former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) ineligible until 2030.
After visiting a training session for the women’s soccer team at the Mané Garrincha stadium, in Brasília, Lula said that the matter is a “problem of Justice”.
“This is a matter for Justice, not my problem. He knows what he did. If he was right, he will be rewarded, if he was wrong, he will be judged and punished. This is a justice problem that does not interfere with the tranquility of the government”, said the PT.
Bolsonaro was condemned by five votes to two by the TSE for abuse of power and misuse of purpose for holding a meeting with ambassadors in July last year, in which he criticized the credibility of electronic voting machines. The action had been proposed by the PDT last year.
